Happy First Friday in 2020!

The view

And here it is. 2020. We are all in “focus”, right? Or are we roaring into the 20s?

Have to say that all I want is Peace. So much anger out there. Hurts my soul and my heart.

Peace

I truly believe that we have better times ahead. Or, I’m choosing to believe that we have better times ahead.

Here are my “Christmas” cacti.

They really used to bloom on Christmas but now they are my New Years Day Cacti.

I took all these pics with my iPhone (even though I just got a new camera that I gave myself for Christmas!). And then I sent them to my iPad to write this post. So, if anything is wavy gravy, blame Apple! Ha!

You know. I truly believe that the next decade will be wonderful. We just need to find peace.

I send you love and hope.

Kathy

Happy Last Friday of 2019!

Time to say good bye to 2019. It was a great year for us.

Actually, this month has been totally amazing! I had so much fun with all the friends and family that came through. Starting with our annual cookie day. Some of these peeps I’ve known all my life, others I just met that that day!

Happy last Day of 2019!

I went to Disney with my son Alan, daughter-in-law Lauri and two granddaughters, Adley and Piper.

Happy last Day of 2019!

Christmas Eve brought Terry’s son Darin, my daughter Jessica and son-in-law Andrew to our home.

Happy last Day of 2019!

Now that the busy month is just about over, thought I’d end the last post of the year with some pretty photos of what is still blooming in my yard.

Happy Last Friday 0f 2019!

The above snap is a butterfly plant. It does not attract butterflies. It has earned this name because it looks like a cloud of butterflies.

Happy Last Friday 0f 2019!

After this weekend, it’s back to just Terry and me. Back to the routine!

Happy Last Friday 0f 2019!

Last time I actually wrote a post here, I talked about providing gifts for the children in need in the Homosassa area. Thanks to the generosity of members of our community and the Homosassa Civic Club, along with the American Legion Post 166, the Homosassa Rotary, the Ladies Elks club and the Female Veterans Network, we were able to provide gifts to 65 children this year.

Happy Last Friday 0f 2019!

Have a great weekend and 2020 celebrations!

See you next year!

Kathy
