Time to say good bye to 2019. It was a great year for us.
Actually, this month has been totally amazing! I had so much fun with all the friends and family that came through. Starting with our annual cookie day. Some of these peeps I’ve known all my life, others I just met that that day!
I went to Disney with my son Alan, daughter-in-law Lauri and two granddaughters, Adley and Piper.
Christmas Eve brought Terry’s son Darin, my daughter Jessica and son-in-law Andrew to our home.
Now that the busy month is just about over, thought I’d end the last post of the year with some pretty photos of what is still blooming in my yard.
The above snap is a butterfly plant. It does not attract butterflies. It has earned this name because it looks like a cloud of butterflies.
After this weekend, it’s back to just Terry and me. Back to the routine!
Last time I actually wrote a post here, I talked about providing gifts for the children in need in the Homosassa area. Thanks to the generosity of members of our community and the Homosassa Civic Club, along with the American Legion Post 166, the Homosassa Rotary, the Ladies Elks club and the Female Veterans Network, we were able to provide gifts to 65 children this year.
