The big social event in Citrus County this weekend was the open house at La Casa of Mason Creek.  Woo-hoo! Previously a private home, now it’s a vacation rental and event venue. Of course, everyone in the neighborhood was there.  As we should be!  We watched this place get built and we were curious about what the inside looked like and all those future plans.

Here’s a few pics….

The owner also purchased an island on Mason Creek plus has plans to build cabins across the road from the mansion.

If this is grand enough for your next event or vacation, the email is lacasamcr@gmail.com. Let us know when you rent it and we’ll drop in.  Really, no problem!

    • Yvonne, I have to admit that the view from La Casa is a wee bit nicer than ours. And I think that mermaid fountain would look super in my front yard! Of course, then I’d have to build a pond. There’s always something!

    • Terry, Next time you come to Old Homosassa, I will take you on a tour! Since it’s an event venue, they give tours! Or you could rent the entire place! What a party we would have!

    • Thanks Clayton, I love La Casa and it’s views. I’m very happy that the venue has been successful. I haven’t been back in awhile, I should probably call Kim the Spring and get a tour of all of the improvements!
