This is my second year of Project 365. Last year I found it a bit of a challenge but the reward is a daily journal of photos. This year I’m not following along with an organized group. I’m just making up my own rules as the year goes by! I will try to post a photo a day. But only if it’s a good photo that reflects a moment. Or maybe I’ll post two photos for the day…or three…or none.
Hope you enjoy following along!
Kathy

Day 55, February 24, 2016, Maggie is not happy with me. She wants me to stop taking pictures and just brush her! That’s what she expects before she gets her dinner.
Day 54, February 23, 2016, One of my favorite waterside visitors.
Day 53, February 22, 2016, Today I have two photos. Does that make up for missing days? Here’s a monarch caterpillar on a milkweed stem that is completely devoid of leaves.
So I moved a stem that had leaves close enough so the caterpillar could move over and have dinner. Then I started feeling like “did I mess with nature?” Oh no!
Day 52, February 22, 2016, Two Eagles
Day 51, February 20, 2016, Just like yesterday’s flamingos, this gator isn’t real. And I think it would look really cool in my backyard.
Day 50, February 19, 2016, More birds in the back. Flamingos.
Day 49, February 18, 2016, As the years have gone by, the palms in our backyard vista have slowly died. Some remain standing, frond-less. Today they were crowned with wood storks.

Day 30, January 30, 2016, Jack. Looking very perplexed. I think he doesn’t understand why he should be begging for BEADS! Rest assured. He finally figures it out and is weighed down with beads by the end of the morning!
Day 27, January 27, 2016, Ibis having dinner in the back yard.
Day 26, January 26, 2015, It was our day in front of the Board of Commissioners. Co-chairs of the “Access to the River” Committee, Rodney MacRae and Roger Cullen. We are moving forward!
Day 24, January 24, 2016, Twilight. Pantone colors of the year. Serenity Blue and Rose Quartz. Right in my backyard.
Day 23, January 23, 2016, C-c-c-c-cold.
Day 21, January 21, 2016, My man, Terry, took a lot of pics but this was the best. Off to a meeting, as usual!
Day 22, January 22, 2016, Hey, who says we don’t have Fall color. Oh wait, it’s winter. Winter color. Very pretty no matter what the season!
Day 20, January 20, 2016, 34 degrees when I got up this morning but these peace lilies are still beautiful! I find these “indoor” plants amazing. Many many years ago I received a few pots when my dad passed away. I planted them in the yard out of desparation because I wasn’t always there to take care of them. They get knocked back every winter but come back strong in the summer.
Day 19, January 19, 2015, It’s c-c-c-cold. Our favorite weather guy, Steve Jerve, said bring the pets and plants in. Shed and garage is full of plants. Maggie is safe! (Like Maggie has EVER spent a night outdoors!)
Day 18, January 18, 2016, Jack!

Day 12, January 12, 2016, Maggie was actually a little pleased to see me come home. “Time to feed me?”
Day 11, January 11, 2016, Went on a mini-vaca to Indian Rocks Beach. Sunset from Angela’s patio.
Day 10, January 10, 2016, Not a great photograph, just wanted to remember that it was so warm this year that some of the caladiums never died back and new ones started popping out of the ground in January.
Day 9, January 9, 2016, I LOVE all the twinkle lights. No, these aren’t up for Christmas, these are up year round. And I want more!
Day 7, January 7, 2016, The Robins have Returned
Day 6, January 6, Still have milkweed but too cold for the monarchs!
Day 5, January 5, Just got this birthday gift in the mail. Lauri and Alan know me so well! Damn squirrels and happy banjos
Day 4, January 4, Beautiful evening.
Day 3, January 3, Cold and Rainy. Winter is here!
Day 2, January 2, The azaleas are blooming early due to the unseasonably warm weather.
Day 1, January 1, The first morning of 2016.
Great job! Love the butterfly & Maggie of course!
Thanks Terry!
I think this is such a great idea! I am going to do the Snap 365 when my birthday begins in July!
Thanks DeeDee. Sometimes I have nothing to put up. And then we get another picture of Maggie. Kind of like a pictorial journal!
