We didn’t go to the Tidal Basin to see the Cherry Blossoms on the peak bloom day but everywhere in DC, the trees are all full of flowers. Expecting rain on Monday so they will be the end of the blossoms for 2025.
These photos were taken at the old Walter Reed Hospital which has been turned into DC Parks. The area is being totally revitalized.
And while on a walk, I snapped these flowers.
We walked to a park in Takoma then a few hours later walked back. These tulips were not in bloom on our way out. A pleasant surprise on our return!
