It’s beginning to taste a lot like Christmas! Especially since Saturday was Cookie Day, The Most Happiest Day of the Year! Last year we had two cookie days, one in North Dakota and one in Perfect. This year one cookie day but two locations–hmmmm, perhaps a franchise possibility?
This isn’t your typical cookie exchange. We actually whip up and bake those cookies right here in my little cookie baking kitchen. Or in the case of the Connecticut elves, way up north in Terry’s cozy kitchen.
In Florida we had nine cookie bakers and two were newbies to the whole cookie day extravaganza. Two elves came in by reindeer from other states and one came back after many years of being ‘missing in action’. Speaking of MIA, three of our regular bakers were out of town. Very sad that they missed all the fun.

It was 80 degrees which accounts for our lack of Christmas Sweaters!
And in Connecticut…

And some random photos from both cookie kitchens….

More than 20 years of cookie baking. And here’s some photos from Christmases past.

So sad I have to wait another 12 months for the Most Happiest Day of the Year!
