Dogs in the Hood

Let’s start May out with some Dogs in the Hood!

Dogs in the Hood
These really are dogs in my hood! They live three doors down. The big one is Tater and the little pooch is Buddy. Buddy didn’t like me and gave me a growl instead of a pose.

Tater wasn’t too sure about me, either, but at least did a little modeling!  Give me that curious look, yeah, curious!  Working it…

And this is Obi. As in Obi-Wan Kenobi! New dog hanging out at the county boat ramp. I think this is the first French Bull Dog I’ve ever seen in Old Homosassa!

Demon and Reese’s don’t have thumbs, but they do have a ladder! Swim Party!

And let’s have a few cats this week…

Dogs in the Hood
Here’s Max wondering where dinner is. “Really? Do I have to say something?”

This is kind of a “Where’s Waldo?” Where’s Max? Looking for turkey dinner?

This is Mattie the Cattie who thinks she’s a dog. Eavesdropping on our weekend plans.  And not happy that she’s not included!

If you have some pets that you think should be featured on this website, email photos to my email address on the contact page!

Dogs in the Hood

Let’s have another Dogs in the Hood this month.  Some of my friends out there have sent me a few photos of their pooches.

These are Donna’s dogs.  Yeah, count them, there are six!

Dogs in the Hood
Trinity, Reese’s, Demon, Remy, Roxie, and Boomer.

So one day they decided to build a shed.  They gathered their tools and spread all the shed parts out before they realized that they didn’t have thumbs! Silly dogs!

This is a rare photograph of the elusive Max that Vera sent.  Max runs when he sees a camera or phone pointed in his direction!  Possibly an undercover spy.

I actually got Ruby and Toby to hold still for me this weekend!

Dogs in the Hood

Well, technically, these aren’t really all dogs and most of them aren’t even in my hood.  But my friends felt sorry for me that I had to go out to the Internet and get pics for my last “Dogs in the Hood” post, and sent me a few photos.  Plus one of our special visitors stopped by.

This is Michelle’s guard cat, Max!

Both directions look good!

He has also been helping with the spring cleaning–time to get rid of the old files.

Then there’s this little guy that stopped by and barked at me.  We have three otters that visit regulary to use our kayak dock.  Underneath it they crunch on crabs.  The top of dock they use as their sunning platform and their own personal potty.  Thanks for the mess!  Stop by anytime!

Dogs in the Hood

My friend Allie in New York sent me this picture of her loyal companion, Chance.  Adorable.

And Donna’s cats, how many do you have?

ohhhh, Donna calls this one Chinese Food. No, I didn’t come up with that one!

And one more pooch.  Here’s Maggie modeling her new outfit from udogu.com.

At udogu.com Maggie wears a small. In the Jack Russell world, Maggie is chunky monkey size.

We’ll have another “Dogs in the Hood” next week.  Send me pics, and your pets can be featured, too!
