For those of you who went on our pre-wedding walk/run, this is the other side of the property where you turned around. You should buy this and build a beautiful home here and be my neighbor. Look! You already have a dock!
And you would live right down the street from these people with their great big house! Once again for our walkers and runners, this was the house that you couldn’t see behind the little walls.
Andrew and Jessica hosted a run/walk on the morning of the wedding. Not only did people show up for the 8 am start after all attending the Welcome To Town Happy Hour the night before, a lot of them ran 5 miles! And a few took a wrong turn and did a 10K!
Bride and GroomPamCourtney — I had to slip a pic of a grandchild in here!Terry is the guide for the out-of-towners. Makes sense to put someone from Connecticut in charge of directions! She did lose a few but they eventually found their way home.Happy Runners! The whole group
So we had the wedding. And it was wonderful, although we had some rain and the tents leaked, and some tables were very wet, and it was really cold. But it was still wonderful!
Sunday morning was Clean Up Day Party. That started about 7 am and ended at 2 am on Monday morning. These people like to party! They picked the right place to do it!
Andrew made hotdogs and hamburgers for the worker bees.
Another gratuitous picture of a grandchild!Pam and JesThe cornhole game came out.Lindsay, Jessica and LauriWhat’s going on here?
We had a rousing game of rock, paper, scissors.
Loser!Very serious game.Battle between brothers!Winner Darin in his crown of glory. And there’s another grandchild! The winning bracket. That chalkboard table got a lot of use last week!
So that was the end of my party since I went to bed. A few revelers started a fire up in the firepit. A perfect ending to a perfect wedding week!
I have one more day of pics coming up tomorrow. And then that’s it! Wedding Week is over!
The official motto here in Perfect is “Trying to squeeze 10 pounds into a 5 pound sack” Last week we went for 15 pounds in that little bag!
What’s a wedding without a few parties?
After the tents were up and the tables and chairs were set in rows, it was time to start the festivities.
Wednesday – Tents are up!
Wednesday was happy hour at the Shed and continued to The Freezer for dinner. Steak Night!
Lindsay and Jessica at the Freezer with their redneck wine glasses.
The weather gods were not kind to us for the rest of the week. Thursday night a storm BLEW threw–causing havoc on our already set-up tables and on Michelle’s plans to host an outdoor bridal luncheon for the ladies. Jon and Michelle spent the morning recreating their patio and some of our worker bees reset up the wedding tables and covered them with even sturdier plastic.
The bridal luncheon started on the patio (just look at that ominous sky)The rain hit and we all moved inside! Good thing Michelle has a large house!Addy, have to stick as many pics of the grandkids in as possible!Yum!The polka dot cake was a hit!Jessica, making announcements
The skies cleared up which gave us a chance to get some photos with a beautiful backdrop.
