Gardening
It’s been a crazy busy week. North Dakota family came in on Monday and just left Thursday with a return on Saturday. Maybe I’ll get caught up!
I didn’t go to the Mullet Toss meeting so can’t share any details. Hung out with the granddaughters instead.
The Old Homosassa Learning Center is starting the Sew Cool Workshop back up on March 15th. Except we don’t have a teacher. Nor sewing machines. Bring your own! And we are doing crafts now. Or just chatting.
And photos for the week!
Piper kindly posed with my scrappy quilt that I’m stitching together. I wanted to get the azaleas in but there is no way I can match the real life beauty of these blooms with a camera.
Night Swimming!
Lots of crafts going on!
Monarch butterfly in the butterfly garden!
Cool day and the wood storks were out fishing. I thought that they had already headed north.
Azaleas. Can’t get enough pics of these!
Old Homosassa is having it’s first Annual St. Patrick’s day Golf Cart Parade! March 20, 2021 at 2 pm at the Old Mill Tavern. Looks like lots of fun!
The Homosassa Mullet Toss and Spring Festival is coming together. This will be a great event because of the amazing volunteers that have such super ideas! If you’d like to be a sponsor, I’ll have details next week.
I might be posting lots of floral photos in the coming weeks. Spring in Florida is the time of the year!
March is National Quilting Month. I’m dragging all the quilts I haven’t finished and working on them this month! Here’s my scrappy denim and cotton quilt.
Have a great weekend!
