Catching up a little

Here are some pics from the last few weeks! Disappointed in myself that I didn’t get one every day since this a bit like a journal for me. I can look back and see what I did every day (almost) in 2021.

Not my house, not my azaleas, but I love all these bright colors.

I’ve become incredibly lazy I guess. Or maybe way too busy. I am just not keeping up!

I’m slowly opening the learning center plus meeting every week for the Homosassa Mullet Toss and Spring Festival and a few times a month for the Old Homosassa Heritage Park. After a year of being a hermit it’s difficult to get back into my old hectic life.

So this blog and my daily photo have definitely been moved down the priority list. I like being busy and have to get back into the swing of things.

We missed the St Pats Day Golf Parade last Saturday that was right here in Old Homosassa. Our boat is not doing well and we were out looking for repair or replace. Not available right now. Maybe in 6 weeks for repair. 6 months for new. We couldn’t even buy a trailer for the skiff we have now so we could take it to a mechanic. Anyhow, got back too late to join the party on wheels. Bummer.

The Homosassa Mullet Toss and Spring Fling is going to be amazing! So much fun stuff. We have some very energetic and creative women heading up this effort. May 15th. 10 am to 5 pm. Music. Throwing Dead fish. A corn hole tournament. Food trucks. 50/50 raffles. Beer, wine, mimosa and Bloody Mary bar, local arts and crafts. And no charge to get in. Seriously. What event does that now? But we will be happy to accept any donations you might want to give the civic club. More to be revealed!

Have a super weekend.

I can’t even….

write anything right now. I’m exhausted!

My beautiful North Dakota family was here off and on since last Monday, the 8th. Left yesterday in the wee hours. Their holiday was extended due to major snowstorms in Denver.

Lucky me! And if you are going to stuck somewhere, what better thanFlorida in the spring? But now I’m tired!

I’ll catch up next week!

have a super weekend!
