I’m really behind with this whole “putting a photo up a day” thing.
It’s amazing how my schedule was thrown out of whack by one little 6 year old spending four days and three nights. Plus two trips to the airport.
Here are my pics from Super Bowl Weekend. My son Alan and granddaughter Adley came to visit. Nope.–they didn’t go to the Superbowl. That would have been like $30,000 for two tickets. Adley came to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa and Alan came to hang out with friends.
Here we are at the airport cell phone lot. We met step-son Darin there so Alan could jump into his car and head to the Riverwalk in Tampa.
In the pool. It’s about 65 degrees. The water is even colder. But this kid is from North Dakota.
Cookie baking time. Chocolate chip cookies! Yum!
Visiting the alligators at River Safaris.
Back in the pool and some sunbathing. North Dakota kids never see sun so must use lots of sunscreen.
Go Bucs! Superbowl Winners!
That’s it for today! I’ll catch up with the rest of the week tomorrow. (maybe)
I have a little bit of news! Events are coming up!
First, the local art shops are having a luminary art walk. Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 11 AM EST – 8 PM EST
According to FB, it is an “Open air festival with artists and lots of fun things all day. At dusk the lights and luminaries will be lit to turn the evening into a romantic happening.”
AND MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
The Homosassa Mullet Toss returns on
May 15th!
This was an annual event held at the Old Mill Tavern until a few years ago. It has moved to the Homosassa Civic Club’s festival grounds.
Music, food trucks, throwing mullet! How much fun is that?
And here’s my daily pic!
