In the Garden November 5, 2013 by KTgreen No butterflies today but we still have many flowers. African Iris Banana tree blossom. Still no bananas. Hydrangea I’m not sure what variety this is but the leaves look like a hibiscus. So guessing it’s some kind of Mallow. The first bloom on one of my little potted plumeria trees. Poinsettias from Christmas’ past ready to celebrate the holidays. Most vincas have a virus and eventually whither away. But this one dies every winter and comes back from seed every spring. I used to pull them like weeds but now accept their happy faces. Wonder where all my butterflies went?
Beautiful flowers. Thank you for the green, we have a lot of brown. It was 16 here yesterday morning. Reply
Oh, and by the way, the butterflies aren’t here. We don’t have those amazingly beautiful ones even when they are here. 🙂 Reply
It’s been really windy here for a few days, I think the butterflies are hiding! 16 degrees! And that’s why I moved to Florida decades ago! Reply
