Watson’s Art Gallery in Old Homosassa has been holding a monthly “Paint and Wine” night at their gallery. We actually had a free night last Friday so I invited my mother-in-law Shirley to go with me. (By the way, she’ll be 91 in less than a month but she’s always ready for a party!)
Keith Martin Johns and his wife led us through painting a manatee, (or in my case a worried looking potato with appendages)
Look how happy Shirley and I are! (hmmmmm, I think I should have worn a hat. My hair is looking bad from spending the afternoon on the boat! And I didn’t know that I’d be on the other side of the camera!)
Just want to say that the woman in the middle of the front row with the really good painting of the manatee is the artists daughter. And I don’t think she was drinking wine. Good painting but did she have as much fun as Shirley and me?
More classes are scheduled in October and November. Check out the Watson’s Art Gallery Facebook page for more info or stop by the gallery to sign up!
