Pepper Creek Pottery in Old Homosassa

I’m continuing my tour of some of the art galleries taking part in the Luminary Art Nights for the rest of the week.

Today the spotlight is on Pepper Creek Pottery.

I made a quick stop at the shop and met Martha Ann Brunsink and Angela Davis, the two potters that work out of the Pepper Creek Pottery location.  Three other potters work from their homes.

Love the front porch, it looks so inviting!

Angela Davis holding one of her pots from a series she created with the traditional method used by the Ancient Florida Indians.  Hand coiled with local additives such as clay that she collected from the Withlacochee River.

More snaps of art available at Pepper Creek Pottery.

    • I do not own or work at Pepper Creek Pottery in Old Homosassa.  I just take pics and write posts of many events in Old Homosassa.  Having said that, Captain Martha Ann was at Pepper Creek Pottery but I believe she moved to the Heritage Village in Crystal River.  There is a lovely shop, Coastal Art Gallery, with hand crafted items–pottery, painting, stained glass among other pretties.
Of course, Pepper Creek Pottery is still in Old Homosassa and has many beautiful pieces of pottery along with other art media.
Either location has wonderful pieces of art and very nice people.  Definitely places to visit to buy gifts on Small Business Saturday!
