Shooting star hydrangea — Shooting Star Hydrangea. I tried numerous times to root this plant and finally got one to take!

April showers bring

May flowers.

Not really.

We have May flowers but April is the driest month of the year.

But we have flowers.

I was out snapping photos of the flowers and then sitting at my laptop editing them and Terry goes “What are you doing?” and I said getting a post ready to upload and he said “It’s about time! You’re website is BORING! It’s not like we don’t do anything! Why aren’t you posting about all that? We just went to a wedding renewal! Why aren’t those pictures up yet????”

Wow! Can you believe how negative he is???? Actually, I might have taken liberties on his talking parts, but, he’s right, I haven’t been posting enough. I used to post EVERY DAY! Sheesh. I gotta get my act together. (And just want to say, I’ll have those wedding photos up, it just takes a bit longer to edit photos with people in them!)

But I digress, back to today’s post….

May Flowers

Hey look, the plumeria are almost ready to bloom!

night blooming jasmine — Night blooming Jasmine. Not spectacular blooms but it smells like HEAVEN must smell!

Jacaranda — Sheesch, I can’t remember what this is! Sheesch!

pink hydrangea — Pink hydrangea. This one really is supposed to be pink

An almost blue hydrangea. With all of our limestone, it’s hard to get a blue hydrangea here. It’s LOVELY!

And Terry just said, “I never said that your website is boring! You just need to post more!”

Gotta quit going to so many meetings!

February. Florida. Flowers.

I like to think of these photos as Glamour Shots. For Flowers. I only put up the pretty pos(i)es!

These are from my yard. In Florida. In February.

Pink Azaleas — My pink azaleas are only about 3 years old. Still a little wimpy.

Then I invited myself over to the neighbor’s place to snap some of her flowers. (Well, I did knock on her door but she didn’t answer.)

pink azalea — Mary Jane’s azaleas are beautiful. Love the colors and the bushes are huge since they were planted a few decades ago!

Love all the flowers. And love that the weather has warmed up enough for me to get out there and take some photos. Cause you know I don’t go outside unless it’s over 50!
