I went away for a few days.
I SERIOUSILY just got back 10 minutes ago. Really!
The trip was a kinda last minute thing. Although we had been planning it for a a very long time but didn’t think it would actually happen.
Our friends had about three weeks that they were staying in their beautiful home in North Carolina and we were trying to line all that stuff up.
And. Of. Course. I. Had. A. Broken. Foot.
Terry and I found 3 days that we could try to get away. (And I’m going to say that there were at least 5 meetings that we skipped)
So right up until the last minute we didn’t know if it would all work up but it did! Yippee!!
On Tuesday we drove to Waynesville North Carolina.
Oh My Goodiness!
So much fun.
And then we drove back. Yesterday. And I have so many great photos. North Carolina is amazingly beautiful. And the weather is wonderful. And I was really scared on all those narrow roads into the mountains with no guard rails. (What happened to guard rails????)
And since I didn’t get back until Thursday night, those snaps will be up on Monday.
And what’s happening this weekend?
Scalloping.
Park at the Homosassa Civic Club.
ALL THE MONEY FROM PARKING GOES TO THE YOUTH.
This Saturday the youth group from the Homosassa Baptist Church will be handling the parking. These are great kids working to earn money for their camp.
