It’s been almost ONE YEAR since I posted here. Yikes! About time to start again right now. I’ll be throwing photos up here occasionally. This blog is all about Old Homosassa and any travels I might be on. Mostly pictures. A few words. Here are a some snaps from yesterday!
The 2nd Annual Santa Paddle was scheduled at Crumps Landing.
It rained. A lot! But a bunch of paddlers were not made of sugar (unlike me, I am totally one big lump of sugar that would definitely have melted in the rain) And they braved the downpour and followed the Dragon Boat on a soggy Sunday Santa Parade!
The paddlers also brought toys for the Homosassa Civic Club’s Christmas Childrens Outreach. Such a great project. The civic club and the Old Mill have adopted sixteen families in need this year. Santa will be providing some great gifts thanks to all the generous elves in our community!
