The last stop on my art gallery tour is at The Glass Garage. Neither Lori Lenoir nor Louise Whitney, the glass artists, were in the shop but I did get to meet Louise’s husband Paul.
The art glass gallery is nestled under massive live oaks covered with Spanish Moss and in the same building as Pepper Creek Pottery that I posted about yesterday. Stained and fused glass fill the gallery and sparkle in the light.
I love these little bowls. I think they would be wonderful by a bathroom sink or on the night stand in the guest bedroom. Or a thank you, or…..
Besides the stunning glass art, Dwaine Dufore does oil paint on pieces of wood.
While Lori and Louise were not in the gallery on my visit, I’m looking forward to meeting them this weekend at the Luminary Art Nights on Yulee Drive in Old Homosassa.

Hi Sally, you can contact the glass garage at whitney4411@gmail.com. The shop is lovely with many beautiful pieces.
You have such a creative talent, love you use of old clear saucers! Beautiful!
We are looking for 2 rectangular pieces approximately 4ft wide and 2ft long (can discuss). We like the one with the colorful plates but would like to work with you on a design.
I do not work at the glass garage. Just report on them occasionally. Here is there website: http://www.theglassgarage.net/index.html They do amazing work and are very nice people.
Love tour work!! Do you sell the 12×12 pieces of glass? I love creating my own pieces but not sure where to purchase supplies in the area.
Thanks I’m advance
